Hospital worker admits stealing money for staff Christmas party

A hospital administrator, has been ordered to carry out 200 hours community service after admitting four charges of theft totalling £1,800.

Lorraine Dougan, organised collections from staff for special occasions, including a colleague’s retirement gift and a Christmas party, but kept the money for herself.

She submitted fake invoices to the health board in a bid to cover her tracks.
